Results release, hour by hour
On release morning, every student signs in at once, and a few try to sign in as someone else. Ollandi keeps the portal up for the many and stops the few.
Query times climb as sign-ins pour in. Ollandi tells ICT to add capacity and turn on the waiting page before the portal starts timing out.
Every sign-in checks fee status with the bursary’s payment provider, and that check is timing out. Ollandi names the integration at fault, and ICT switches to the cached fee list until the provider recovers.
A session hijacked through a phishing link starts calling staff-only grade functions. Within seconds the hijacked session is gone, the account loses access to grade functions, and the registry gets a list of every record it reached.
With that list in hand, the registry confirms results are unchanged, and the evidence is kept for the governing council and any NDPC review.
